Butterflies
Welcome to Butterfly Class
Every day in the butterfly class is new and led by the children's interests. The staff believe in the children and will follow in their lead, allowing them to grow and flourish and be celebrated as individuals.
Every morning we learn a new sound through phonics and play engaging games that help us to read. Our maths is taught through the fun characters from number blocks.
During the afternoons, the teachers will lead reading groups. On Friday's we announce the raffle ticket winner and they may choose a prize. Raffle tickets can be earned through reading at home.
Throughout the day the children have access to the provision. This is their inside and outside learning environment. Challenges are set up and children progress through a skills based curriculum. We have lots of messy play including a mud kitchen, sand pit and water play. Spare clothes are a must in butterfly class!
