Hedgehogs
Welcome to Hedgehogs class! The children in our class are in years 1 and 2.
We begin each morning with Collective Worship where we come together to worship as a school and think about how we can "Believe, Grow and Flourish" throughout the day! Following collective worship, we have our daily phonics and spelling sessions. Next, it's time for English before we head outside for play time.
After play time we have our maths sessions. Afterwards, we've worked up an appetite and we're ready for lunch!
Our afternoons consist of handwriting and our other lessons (such as P.E., History, Geography, R.E., Science, Computing, P.S.H.E, Music and more!).
On Tuesdays and Thursdays we have our P.E. lessons. On Wednesdays we head to our fabulous Forest School which is always a highlight of the week!
We love to read in Hedgehogs class (we always look forward to our "reading raffle" on a Friday where regular readers are rewarded)! We end our days with a story and a prayer before heading home for the evening!
