Forest School

At Brigstock we are so lucky to have Forest School provision on site led by a fully qualified, Level 3 Forest School practitioner. Forest School is a holistic way of learning that focusses on the whole child approach and enables them to: -

learn through play
take calculated risks
build up resilience and confidence
learn new skills
work as part of a team
foster a love for nature and the environment around them

Each class has access to forest school once a week where they can swing from trees, make mud pies and build dens all in a safe and nurturing environment.

We also offer Forest School after school club twice a week where children can spend an extended period of time playing independently and building on the skills they learn in their sessions.
